of bathers attracted by its beaches and the small inlets among
the rocks, the kindness and excellence of its hotels,
restaurants, pizzerias and elegant boutiques and by the pleasant
shopping at the picturesque market on Friday.
The ancient “Basilica di Antiochia”, the “Cervara Abbey” and the
seventeenth-century Villa Durazzo with its rich Italian-style
garden twinned with the botanic gardens of Villa Hanbury in
Ventimiglia are the best tourist attractions to visit.
The boating trips to Portofino, the visit to the medieval
architectural masterpiece “San Fruttuoso Abbey”, the trip to
Punta Chiappa and the picturesque and historical Camogli with
the interesting visit to the Naval Museum and “tonnare” are the
best tours to make.
